It finally happened. The Carson Wentz saga is now over as the Philadelphia Eagles have traded him to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a 2021 third-round pick and a conditional 2022 second-round pick that could turn into a first.

Rumors were circulating that Wentz might be holding up a potential trade to the Chicago Bears. Now that he's landed in Indianapolis for what seems like pennies on the dollar, the internet and Twitter have started to react.
Twitter reacts to Carson Wentz being traded to the Colts
NFL fans have been waiting to see where Wentz would land for weeks now, and reactions have started to roll in.
Some fans and media see it as a great move particularly for the quarterback, who will have the opportunity to revive his career with an already solid roster to work with.
Wentz gets a fresh start in a place that most think is the best place for him. Very good defense, excellent O Line, good backs, young skill guys & a coach he won't have 'relationship issues' with. If it doesn't work here it won't work anywhere. The Colts' 'Luck' may be changing.

Carson Wentz to Indy was really, from the start, the only place that made sense. Frank Reich's work w him in past major factor and can help restore his confidence and rhythm.

Others see it as Wentz being devalued in the market and the Colts getting away with robbery.
That is … not a lot. Wow. Market really wasn't there for Wentz https://t.co/jZ4TRmDcfe

I'm amazed Eagles even got this much to offload Wentz after that season and with that contract. https://t.co/mYfenHv0Wg

According to reports, the Eagles will receive the 85th-overall pick in the 2021 draft, and the conditional second-rounder can become a first-round pick based on Wentz's playing time next season. They've gotten rid of him and now can usher in the Jalen Hurts era of football in Philadelphia.
Wentz will rejoin his former offensive coordinator in Philadelphia, now Colts head coach Frank Reich. He'll attempt to get his career back on track after throwing for 16 touchdowns against 15 interceptions and ultimately being benched last season.
We'll have to wait and see which team fares better as the draft and 2021 NFL season approaches.

Alyssa Carson (born March 10, 2001) is an American space enthusiast and undergraduate student. She is known for attending numerous space camps and visiting NASA visitor centers across nine states with her father Bert Carson.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Carson was born on March 10, 2001 in Hammond, Louisiana,[2] the only daughter of a single father, Bert Carson. She graduated from Baton Rouge International School, a pre-school through 12th grade private school, in 2019.[citation needed]
Summer camps and other activities[edit]
Carson attended her first space camp in Huntsville, Alabama at age seven and went on to attend six more.[3][4] She remains the only person to attend every space camp offered including those in Turkey and Canada.[5][6] She also attended a Sally Ride Summer Camp at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.[7]
Her 'NASA Blueberry' branding used on her website and social media platforms is based on the call sign she selected at space camp.[3][8]
At 16, she participated in the Advanced PoSSUM (Project Polar Suborbital Science in the Upper Mesosphere) Space Academy.[9] At 18, Carson earned her pilot's license.[10] Her training has also included water survival, g force training, micro gravity flights, obtaining scuba certification, and decompression training.[11][12]
Higher education[edit]
Carson attended classes focused on space physiology at Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University.[13] As of 2019, she is studying astrobiology at the Florida Institute of Technology.[14]
Career[edit]
In 2014, Carson was the first person to complete the 'NASA Passport Program' visiting each of NASA's fourteen visitor centers across nine states. She was then invited to participate as a panelist at the MER (Mars Exploration Rover) 10 Panel at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC.[15] In 2014, Carson was featured as the Youngest Female Groundbreaker on the Steve Harvey talk show. Carson was featured in the 2017 documentary The Mars Generation.[16][17]
Carson self-published So, You Want to Be an Astronaut (2018)[18] about her passion for space flight and has written for The Independent.[19] She has given TEDx talks encouraging young girls to pursue careers in STEM in Kalamata, Greece (2014),[20]Bucharest, Romania (2018),[21] and Klagenfurt, Austria (2019).[22]

While frequently described by the media as an 'astronaut in training',[23][10] Carson is not affiliated with any national space program.[24][25] NASA has publicly stated that the organization 'has no official ties to Alyssa Carson',[25] and separately that 'although Ms. Carson uses ‘NASA' in her website name and Twitter and Instagram handles, we’re not affiliated at all.'[26] In 2019 Newsweek corrected a headline that had implied that Carson's training was affiliated with NASA.[9] Snopes.com also has dedicated a page to clarify claims saying 'Carson is not in training with – or being prepped by – NASA to become an astronaut, or to take part in the first human mission to Mars.'[27]
In 2019, Carson appeared on an episode of Ryan's Mystery Playdate.[28] She is also frequently interviewed to discuss her childhood goal of becoming an astronaut and traveling to Mars.[23][10] Carson has also been involved with several space-related products including 'space luggage' designed by Horizn Studios and participation in the team in testing Final Frontier Design's spacesuit for the Canadian Space Agency headquarters.[14][29] Carson promotes footwear for Nike and home appliances for SodaStream.[30]
Awards[edit]
